7 Apps that Notify You When Your Android Battery Is Full

Many phones today come with an LED indicator that signals when the battery is fully charged, but you may not know if your device is not close to you. While “overcharging” your phone won’t make the device explode or anything too serious, the practice is still not recommended for various reasons. To protect your phone’s battery health, an app that notifies you when your device has finished charging would be beneficial. This list rounds up some of the best apps that will alert you that your Android has a full battery.

Full Battery Charge Alarm is an app that offers many features. On top of showing you the usual battery stats (voltage, temperature, battery health, time left until full recharge), it also lets you control your screen’s brightness and activate the flashlight from within the app.

Users can set an alert for low battery levels, and if they wish to monitor the device’s temperature, there’s an alert for that too. You can easily enable these alerts from their dedicated menu.

The app allows you to tweak what you consider to be a full battery level. For instance, you may want to get notified when your phone’s battery reaches 85% charge. According to some experts, letting your smartphone battery drain completely to zero, then charging it to 85%, will make the battery last longer. The app also includes a theft alarm feature designed to prevent anyone from unplugging your phone while it’s charging.

2. Battery 100% Alarm

Another good option that you may want to check out is Battery 100% Alarm. The app keeps you up to date on the charge level of your battery and how much time you have to wait before your device is ready to be unplugged (via the notification bar).

Users can enable snooze for the alarm, ranging from one to five minutes. There’s also the option to manually set the maximum charging limit – whether it’s 100% or less. Once reached, it will trigger the alarm.

Battery 100% Alarm taps into your device’s ringtone library, so you can opt for a soothing notification or perhaps something a bit more alert. Change it according to your mood. Unfortunately, the app is infested with ads, which range from the more intrusive to the less disruptive.

3. Full Battery & Theft Alarm

Full Battery & Theft Alarm benefits from a very intuitive interface. As soon as you open the app, it will display the charge percentage. It will also show you the phone’s temperature, overall health, and the time left until your battery is full.

Users can set an alarm to notify them when the charging reaches a certain point (between 50% and 100%), or alert them when battery levels are low. The app also displays the charge history, complete with time and date. Full Battery & Theft Alarm gives you granular control over the alarm, allowing you to set a time delay, auto-stop the alarm, or set a mute alarm hours.

There’s also an anti-theft option that, when enabled, prevents anyone from unplugging your phone without consent. If someone were to do so, it would trigger an alarm that can only be turned off by entering a code that you set up. The app has ads, but they aren’t too intrusive. If you don’t want them tainting your experience, remove them in exchange for a small fee.

4. Full Battery Charge Alarm

Full Battery Charge Alarm is another super simple app that gets the job done in a very straightforward manner. Simply press the “Enable Alarm” button before putting your phone down for a charge.

To customize the alarm, users need to go through Settings (tap on the cog wheel icon in the upper-right corner). From there you can select a ringtone, set an alarm threshold, enable a low-battery alarm, and more. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and you can also switch to a dark theme.

The app has a preview option to see what the alarm will look and sound like when it activates. While the app’s interface doesn’t look as modern as some apps, it’s pretty simple and easy to use. It features minimal ads that can be removed in exchange for a small fee.

5. Charger Alert

Charger Alert is a simple app that displays some battery stats, including voltage and temperature. On top of that, enabling a full battery alert is as easy as togging on an option.

At the same time, you can enable alerts for low battery levels and temperature levels, too, as an unplugging alert. The twist with this app is that these alerts aren’t customizable. You can’t set an alert to go off when charging battery levels reach 90% or 85% for free.

You will have to upgrade to the paid version to unlock customizable alerts, as well as themes, notification settings, and access to a plugged-in alert. However, if you’re only looking for an app that can notify you when your battery reaches 100%, the free version is all you’ll need.

6. AccuBattery

Price: Free

AccuBattery is a popular battery health app that displays important battery information such as temperature, voltage, battery current, usage stats, and estimates. The app also offers a way to set a full battery alarm which is accessible via the Charging tab. Unlike with other apps, you can set the threshold up to 99%. Just drag the blue bubble to set the charge alarm according to your preferences.

Once battery levels reach the desired settings, AccuBattery will then issue a brief audio notification (or vibrating one, if the phone is set to Vibrate) to alert you that it’s time to unplug your phone. Unfortunately, it’s quite easy to miss, so if you’re not in close proximity to the device, it could go unnoticed.

7. FullCharge Alarm

FullCharge Alarm is another straightforward app with a clean interface. Once you open the app, you’ll get an overview of stats, including device temperature, charging status and battery capacity.

Turning on the Full Battery Alarm is as easy as accessing the app, but you can also tweak the battery level that triggers the alarm, according to your preferences. The app also lets you have a say regarding alarm volume. Additionally, a low battery alarm is offered, which is customizable.

While there aren’t any additional features included in FullCharge Alarm to dazzle you, the app works well for its purpose. It’s also free to download and use.
